Tom Koch is a Partner with CTPartners, a premier executive search firm committed to performance, quality and results.
As a member of the firm’s Life Sciences Practice, Tom has a strong focus on Healthcare, Assisted Living/Long Term Care, and Healthcare Services. He collaborates closely with organizations in recruiting general management, including CEOs, CFOs, and COOs, as well as other key roles. He has completed engagements for senior functional and operations positions responsible for finance, sales, marketing, manufacturing, supply chain, information technology and human resources.
In addition, Tom’s practice includes a specialization in high tech. He has worked with Google, Cisco, Netflix, HireRight and others in attracting executives capable of meeting specific challenges presented by various stages of growth and changing business cycles.
Previously, Tom was a lead Principal Consultant in the General Business and Human Capital Practice of McDermott & Bull. Tom partnered with a variety of clients, including life sciences, health care, biotech, technology, manufacturing, financial and business services companies.
With more than 20 years of senior human resources leadership experience, Tom is a key member of CTPartners’ Global HR Practice. He has led HR for global organizations, including General Electric’s Polar Air Cargo and James Hardie Building Products. In addition, he led large domestic divisions with Pepsico, Home Depot, and Deloitte & Touche’s EPS Solutions. Recognized by peers as an outstanding professional, he is a past nominee for the National Human Resources Association’s Executive of the Year.
Tom received a BBA and an MBA from the University of North Texas. Dedicated to serving the community, he routinely provides leadership in varying capacities to non-profits. Tom serves on the board of the National Human Resources Association, Orange County, as chair of Professional Development. He is former President of SchoolPower, an organization raising funds for the Laguna Beach School District. He is a five time mentor in the University of California Irvine’s Graduate Business School Mentor Program. He has offices in Irvine and Redwood Shores CA.
