Peter’s practice focuses on serving clients in semiconductor, software, cleantech and network communications as well as technologies for life sciences and industrial sectors on a global basis. He has worked with companies of all sizes and complexities, public and private, start-ups, turnarounds, carve-outs, and growth scenarios as well as venture capital and private equity sponsors. In addition to placing accomplished general management talent, Peter has placed executives across the functional spectrum and has developed particular functional expertise in Engineering, Marketing, Human Resources, and Supply Chain.
Challenging assignments at the convergence industries or technologies is one of Peter’s practice specializations. Recently, he’s evaluated top talent in Retail and Software sectors for key assignments in eCommerce with merchants, platform technologies, and service providers. In another assignment, he leveraged his expertise in VOIP communications and security software to identify the CEO of an early stage security appliance company developing innovative technologies for enterprise and carrier networks. In the cleantech space, Peter successfully sourced into semiconductor, MEMS and biotechnology fields to successfully place the CEO and VP of Engineering at an early stage enterprise developing micro fuel cells ‘on a chip’ for the portable electronics market.
Peter began his career in marketing and sales roles in the scientific instrumentation field. Peter then managed key accounts and built a high performance team delivering staffing solutions in the corporate information technology sector. Later, he joined Heidrick & Struggles as a Principal in its technology practice.
A graduate of Boston College, Peter is based in Boston.
