A member of the firm’s CFO/Financial Leadership Practice, Michael focuses on assignments for senior financial management. He has conducted searches for CFOs, controllers, treasurers, and executives responsible for audit, tax and compliance. His clients are global leaders in financial services, industrial/manufacturing, retail, professional services, consumer packaged goods and life sciences.
Previously Michael was a Principal with David Brooke Associates, Inc. In this role he was responsible for the execution of senior-level searches for the firm's core clients, primarily insurance companies in property and casualty, as well as, reinsurance. He was also the firm's first financial officers expert and had been tasked with sourcing and leading senior financial officer searches in multiple industries.
Prior to joining DBA, Michael spent six years in Korn/Ferry International's Stamford office as a Senior Associate. He conducted senior level assignments as a core member of the Financial Officers Practice in North America. He was active in a broad spectrum of recruiting assignments at the Chief Financial Officer, Corporate Controller, Treasurer and senior and middle-management levels.
Earlier, Michael served as a Staff Manager for two successful boutique search firms with responsibilities over their Finance and Accounting practices.
Michael received a BBA from LeMoyne College in Syracuse, New York. He resides in Cortlandt Manor, New York, and is based in the Firm’s New York Headquarters.
