A member of the firms’ Board Services Practice, Dona provides consultation to a variety of clients across industries. Dona has recruited non-executive and executive directors with specific expertise and experiences to strengthen the board’s abilities in areas critical to organizational success. She has assisted the world’s leading multinationals in strategically structuring boards, undertaking engagements to fill multiple seats. She is also an active member of the firm’s TMT, Banking and Human Resources practices.
A search professional with more than 10 years of experience, Dona’s previous affiliations include being with Heidrick & Struggles. In addition to maintaining a successful search practice, Dona held several leadership roles. Among these are Managing Partner of the North American Telecommunications Practice and Managing Partner of the firm’s Greenwich office. Dona eventually relocated to London to lead the firm’s European Telecommunications and Media Practice. During her search career she also led the New York office and Global Technology Practice for Whitehead Mann.
Dona’s corporate career includes holding global management roles of increasing responsibility with BT Plc. After executing a series of sales and marketing positions with BT North America, she served as SVP Western Region. She relocated to London, assuming responsibilities of General Manager, Global Business Customer Division.
Most recently, Dona was Human Resources Director, Commercial Bank for Barclays Bank Plc. She transformed the function, creating a team, implementing structures and processes, and building the technology platform to support 65,000 customers and 9000 employees.
Dona is a graduate of University of Edinboro, Pennsylvania. Active in various non-profit organizations, she serves as a trustee of the Work Foundation. Dona is based in the firm’s London office.
