Brian M. Sullivan is Chief Executive Officer of CTPartners, a premier-quality executive search firm committed to performance, quality and results.  Recognized as a search industry thought-leader and innovator, Brian joined CTPartners in 2004 and is responsible for expanding the firm’s services, practices and reputation as one of the world’s leading executive search firms.

Previously, Brian served as Vice Chairman of Heidrick & Struggles International, which he joined upon the acquisition of Sullivan & Company, the financial services search firm he founded in 1988.  While at Heidrick & Struggles, Brian built the Global Financial Services Practice into the largest practice in the search industry. He was then responsible for managing the other Practices and the Major Account Program. Earlier in his career, he was involved with asset management at Kidder Peabody and at Revlon, Inc. 

 

A highly sought after human capital expert, Brian is a regular contributor to major international business publications.  In 2008, Brian was named to BusinessWeek's Top 50 List of the World’s Most Influential Headhunters.

 

Brian is a member of the Association of Executive Search Consultants.  His primary charitable interest is InStride, a therapeutic horseback riding academy for special needs children and adults located in Sarasota Florida.

 

Brian holds a Bachelor of Science from Lehigh University and a Masters of Business Administration from Denver University.  He and his wife have two children.
