As a member of the firm’s Life Sciences & Healthcare Practice, Belinda serves clients ranging from start-ups to global leaders in most segments of the industry. Her practice includes a focus on medical devices, diagnostics, biotechnology, health care delivery, and instrumentation. Belinda has successfully filled senior general management roles such as CEO and directors of the board as well as those responsible for critical functions and operations. Among these are marketing, sales, commercialization, quality assurance, licensing, research, product development, clinical affairs, marketing communications, engineering, and regulatory affairs.
Belinda’s search career includes tenures with several firms dedicated to the medical industry. She entered the profession as an Account Executive with Management Recruiters, Inc. and later joined Bowman & Associates as an Associate.
Belinda entered the corporate world with Siemens Medical Systems, holding management positions of increasing responsibility in Clinical Applications, culminating as Marketing Manager for a $15 million telemetry monitor. Later she joined Abiomed, Inc. as Marketing Manager for a $30 million cardiac assist device. An entrepreneur, Belinda founded Ardent Resources, a medical marketing consultancy.
A respected healthcare delivery professional, Belinda spent more than a decade as a pediatric critical care and neonatal critical care nurse in premier teaching and community hospitals. Her affiliations include Vanderbilt University Hospital, Humana Fort Walton Beach, UCLA, Orange County Children’s Hospital, Kennestone Hospital, and Saudi Arabia’s King Fahad Hospital.
A graduate of the University of Alabama in Birmingham, Belinda has been active in a variety of professional and non-profit organizations. She is a member of the firm’s Columbia office.
