Laurie A. O’Shea is a Vice Chairman with CTPartners, a premier executive search firm committed to performance, quality and results. Laurie is Global Head of the firm’s Insurance Practice, as well as a member of the firm’s CEO & Board and Inclusion Practices.
In this leadership role, Laurie oversees the activities of a global network of professionals dedicated to serving the insurance industry. Through her efforts, team communication, industry knowledge and service delivery are enhanced. Laurie conducts assignments for major clients based throughout the world. She has recruited senior general management talent, including CEOs, COOs, CFOS, CIOs, as well as members of boards of directors. She has closely collaborated with companies to build global teams responsible for key functions, operations, and initiatives critical to corporate success.
Laurie entered the search profession 25 years ago, spending the last 15 years with Russell Reynolds Associates. During her 15-year tenure, she became Co-Head of the Americas for Insurance and was a member of the Diversity Practice.
Laurie received her undergraduate degree from Beloit College and her Master’s degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is Treasurer of the Matadors Boys Club, as well as a member of The Chicago Network and The Chicago Finance Exchange. She is also a former member of the Illinois Venture Capital Association.
Through her family’s not-for-profit, Laurie works with underprivileged youth in Chicago. She is also a judge and coach for amateur boxing.
